A mid grey with blue undertones, this colour was part of our Mid Century Collection inspired by the Festival of Britain in 1951. Pair with a zesty yellow (like Hustle at 5pm) for an eye catching scheme or use with a soft white (like Yes Your Honour) for a more pared-back look.

It’s made in the UK, using top quality pigments, by an innovative supplier, who brings the latest paint technology to our traditional colour palette. Each colour is made to a unique Fired Earth recipe. It’s also lovely paint to work with. Great coverage and high opacity mean it generally needs only two coats for a perfect finish.
Our Matt Emulsion is blended to produce a wipeable flat matt finish which is wonderfully soft to the touch. Our Eggshell has been specially formulated to resist moisture, staining and to dry to a soft velvet sheen. All our paints provide exceptional coverage, are practical, hardwearing, and virtually odourless. Fired Earth paint is formulated and manufactured with the environment in mind. We take care to choose the correct and safe materials and to be responsible in our actions. To this end we have successfully developed paints that cover exceptionally well, thereby requiring fewer coats than ordinary paints.
